Thank you, Ruth (Or: International Women's Day 2012)

Today is International Women's Day.

Last year I linked to a handful of my columns on feminism and gender equity, and a 'Write Tools' guest post by Mischa Merz.

This year I'd just like to thank my wife, Dr. Ruth Quibell, for sharing her vision of an equitable, creative and brave life together; for refusing the false coins of 'natural' gender roles as we raise our family; for daring to sit quietly together, letting our inner lives overlap.

Thank you, my love. (And please pick up some butter beans on your way home.)
