Conversation with a One-Year-Old

Sophia (pointing): flower.

Me: yes, dandelion.

Sophia: rrrrraaaaaaaaaaagh.

It's wonderful the way children learn, by association upon association.

Language itself can be so confusing, turning things and ideas into words.

It never ceases to amaze me how the children do it.
